The name Kinipple may be connected to a Danish word which means lace maker or bludgener (someone who beetles linen to put a shine on it).
At the time of the 1901 census there were a total of just 33 Kinipples, mainly in the London area, so I suspect that there is a good chance they are all related.
Walter Robert Kinipple (born 31st July 1832) is a famous civil engineer who worked mainly with bridges and docks. He has connections to a bridge in Copenhagen.
